Kim of Essential Strength - Strength Training specialists in Liverpool

Hi I’m Kim, I’ll be leading 1:1 sessions including consultations and inductions as well as helping everyone with mobility, nutrition and memberships.

I completely changed careers to become a personal trainer. I initially did it because I had an awful work/life balance meaning my health was negatively affected, and then I became passionate about lifting.

My strengths lie in paying attention to the little things that will help you improve your lifts. I’ll also be consulting on pregnant clients and new mums as well as help people manage health conditions. This includes exercise adaptations and any side effects of medication.


Adam of Essential Strength - Strength Training specialists in Liverpool

Hi I’m Adam, I’ll be leading group coaching sessions, helping you through your comp prep and I’m the go-to guy for powerlifting and strongman.

I became a PT when I was just 18 because I wanted to learn how to train myself properly. For the last 10 years, I’ve spent so much time educating myself on the best possible ways to help people get stronger.


I’ll be writing the bulk of the training programmes. I use up to date methods to help you make progress with your strength and achieve new personal bests. As well as general strength, my areas of expertise include powerlifting and strongman training.

Q: What qualifications do you hold?

A: Between the owners, both have the relevant Level 3 PT qualifications which means we have adequate insurance to train people in our gym and away at competitions.

On top of that, Kim holds extra certifications including pre and postnatal exercise, adapting exercise for health conditions, as well as a Level 4 in Nutrition Coaching.

Adam has completed a 6-month powerlifting coach development programme to further develop his already established skills.
