At Essential Strength, we offer a small and supportive fitness environment where you can be a part of a community. Free from the intimidation and distractions of commercial gyms, it’s the perfect environment for both new gym goers and experienced lifters.

    For just £7 a week, you can access a private strength training gym as well as get bonus access to our online fitness membership - Essential Strength Club. Become a part of a community at Essential Strength Gym.

  • Advanced gym membership

    For just £12 a week, you can access the gym, and become a member of our higher-tier fitness membership - Essential Strength Blueprint - giving you access to our signature team strength training programmes.

Strength training equipment

Our gym specialises in strength training, meaning most of our equipment is designed to support a variety of strength disciplines, including powerlifting and strongman. However, most of our members start with general strength training to lay the foundations and get strong and toned before making their training more specific.

We emphasise our commitment to creating a secure environment for all members. Our gym is equipped with equipment that people might not be used to but we have high standards to ensure every workout is safe and effective. This is one of the reasons that we require all new members to start with an induction so that no one puts themselves or anyone else at risk. Even if you train independently, we’re still on hand to provide guidance if you need help.
